This DPA explains how personal data is handled when businesses use RouteManager.
RouteManager is a self-managed automation CRM and does not collect, store, or control any of your customer data.
All data is stored on your own hosting server, under your full ownership and control.

1. No Data Collection or Control

RouteManager does not collect, process, monitor, analyze, or store any personal data belonging to you or your customers.

All data (including contacts, messages, campaigns, automations, and CRM information) is stored entirely on your hosting environment, which you own and manage.

We have no access to:

  • Your CRM database
  • WhatsApp messages
  • Contacts
  • Customer information
  • Campaign logs
  • Media or files

You are the Data Controller, and the data never passes through or is stored on RouteManager’s servers.

2. Self-Hosted Platform

RouteManager is a self-hosted CRM tool.
This means:

  • You install the software on your own hosting/server
  • You manage the database
  • You control security, access, and storage
  • You decide how data is used

We do not host or process any client or customer data.

3. WhatsApp Business API

All data exchanged through WhatsApp Business API is handled directly between:

  1. Your WhatsApp Business Account
  2. Your Meta / BSP provider
  3. Your self-hosted RouteManager installation

RouteManager does not access, intercept, or store these messages.

4. No Sub-Processors

Because RouteManager does not store or process data:

  • We do not use third-party subprocessors
  • We do not transfer any data to external services
  • We do not share any personal data with anyone

5. Your Responsibilities as Data Controller

Since RouteManager cannot see or control your data, you are responsible for:

  • GDPR compliance of your WhatsApp usage
  • Contact consent
  • Data security on your server
  • Data retention and deletion
  • Responding to data subject requests

RouteManager provides only the software; the system and data are fully under your control.

6. Security

While we do not access your data, our software is designed to support GDPR compliance:

  • No external data transmission
  • No hidden tracking
  • No analytics collection
  • No background data syncing
  • No central storage

You manage your own hosting security configuration.

7. Data Deletion

Because RouteManager does not store or host data:

  • We cannot delete data for you
  • All deletions must be performed by you on your own server
  • When you uninstall the software, all data stored on your hosting remains fully under your control

8. Data Breaches

Because we do not control or store your data:

  • RouteManager cannot cause a data breach
  • Any breach can only occur on your hosting/server, which you manage
  • You are responsible for breach notifications under GDPR
